SAUNA CULTURE

  • Our sauna is on wheels, but hydraulically lowers so you’d barely know it. This makes it easy for us to join for special events from Winter Park to Tabernash or Grand Lake.

  • Sauna culture is a centuries-old Nordic tradition built around heat, cold, rest, and repeat, a simple ritual that restores the body, calms the mind, and brings people together. At its core, it’s communal, nature-rooted, and deeply therapeutic: a place where titles fade, conversation flows, and the fire creates a shared sense of ease. It’s less about recreation and more about connection, cleansing, and slowing down. That’s why it fits so naturally in mountain towns and why we brought it to Grand County. The wood, the cold air, and the quiet all amplify the experience, making each session feel grounding, restorative, and a little bit magical.

  • Sauna culture is often linked to a variety of wellness benefits, though experiences can differ from person to person. Many people find that the heat helps their muscles relax, supports easier breathing, and leaves them feeling calmer and more restored. Others notice improved sleep, a lighter mood, or a refreshed feeling after physical activity. Some also appreciate the way regular sauna time can support circulation and overall well-being. While it’s not a medical treatment, sauna has been a long-standing practice people use to feel better, reset, and care for both body and mind.
